Priogen Management Team
Burcak Tokgoz is Priogen’s Chief Executive Officer. Since the liberalization of power and gas in Europe in the early 2000s, Burcak has been fascinated by developing concepts for bringing order and structure in exceedingly complex electricity systems and markets. As founder and CEO of Priogen he enjoys inspiring our team and our partners to enable the energy transition together.
He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Vrije University of Amsterdam. Burcak is an avid reader of non-fiction books and enjoys travel and skiing.
JanWillem Meijeringh is Head of Credit & Risk Management. JanWillem has overall responsibility for Priogen’s Mid- and Back Office activities. He joined Priogen in 2014 with over 15 year’s international experience in Credit and Risk Management working for financial institutions and well known energy trading companies. Born and raised in the Netherlands, JanWillem also worked part of his professional career in Geneva, Switzerland. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics (Finance & Risk Management) from the University of Groningen. He is a father of 3 (including twins) and aims to run a half marathon every year.
